COVID 2020: The Impact on Total Rewards Strategy

Almost overnight, COVID-19 caused a shift in the total rewards strategy of many employers. Prior to covid-19, low unemployment had created an environment where many employers were competing for talent. With the unemployment level at a now historical high, many employers have been forced to cut budgets and, in some cases, reduce workforce. Throughout this pandemic, Lockton has conducted pulse surveys in order to better understand how strategies have shifted.
